Packers: 3 Aaron Rodgers trade destinations in 2022 offseason
Denver Broncos
This is the team we’ve been hearing about all year long, and it makes plenty of sense. The Denver Broncos could take a big step forward with better quarterback play. We saw John Elway go all in when the Broncos brought in Peyton Manning, which helped bring home a Lombardi Trophy. Maybe he would be willing to do the same with Rodgers.
Denver’s offensive line could do with some upgrades, but there’s plenty of talent on this team including the eighth-ranked defense. Not easy to finish in the top 10 playing against the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and Las Vegas Raiders twice a year.
Rodgers’ supporting cast in Denver would include Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and Noah Fant. And with almost $42 million in cap room, according to Over The Cap, they could go all in. Davante Adams to join Rodgers in Denver?
It could make sense for the Packers, too.
Rodgers would be moving away from the NFC. When it comes to draft picks, the Broncos hold the ninth overall selection as well as two second-rounders in 2022. The Packers could likely get a lot of premium draft picks back in a Rodgers trade.
