Packers: 3 dream free-agent targets to go all-in for 2022
WR Allen Robinson
Allen Robinson chose the Chicago Bears over the Green Bay Packers four years ago, but it’s not too late for Robinson to help this offense reach another level.
Robinson is coming off one of the worst seasons of his career, but it’s worth noting he was playing in a Chicago offense that averaged just 18.3 points per game, sixth-worst in the NFL. In Green Bay, he would be catching passes from the back-to-back MVP and lining up alongside All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams.
Robinson has three 1,000-yard seasons to his name despite never benefitting from great quarterback play. He’s caught passes from the likes of Blake Bortles, Mitch Trubisky, and Andy Dalton.
But the former Pro Bowler has been a consistent No. 1 wide receiver throughout his career. With his talent and experience, he could step right into the Packers’ offense and make an impact. To make it even better, he wouldn’t have the pressure of being the top receiver. That job belongs to Davante Adams.
Robinson won’t find many landing spots as good as the Packers. Here, he would get to play in one of the league’s best offenses, catch passes from the reigning MVP, and also see plenty of one-on-one opportunities.
For the Packers, they would have one of the best receiving duos in football.
