3 free agents Packers should sign following 2022 NFL Draft
Three free agents the Packers should sign following the 2022 NFL Draft.
Entering the 2022 season, the Green Bay Packers look to have one of the NFL’s deepest rosters. The Packers don’t have many positional needs following the draft.
As long as Aaron Rodgers is in town, the offense will find ways to score points. He could now be supported by a top-five defense.
However, that’s not to say there aren’t areas where the Packers can improve. Mostly positions in need of some added depth.
Unlike in previous seasons, general manager Brian Gutekunst doesn’t need to look for potential starters at multiple positions over the summer. Instead, there are positions where the Packers could be a little thin if they suffer an injury or two.
If Joe Barry’s defense reaches its potential and the offense adjusts to life after Davante Adams, this team will be tough to stop.
Gutekunst added a lot of talent throughout the draft last week, but the time for building the roster isn’t over. Many talented players are still free agents. The Packers can afford to make a team-friendly move or two this summer.
Here are three free agents they should consider signing before the start of the 2022 season.
