2. Packers at Buccaneers

Tom Brady’s retirement was great news for the Packers. One less star quarterback in the NFC and likely the end of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ short run as a dominant force in the conference.

Not so fast.

Brady quickly went back on his decision and announced he would be playing in 2022.

And as long as Brady remains in Tampa Bay, this team will be contending for a Super Bowl.

While many argue the Packers haven’t surrounded Aaron Rodgers with enough talent on offense, the same can’t be said for Brady.

Brady has Mike Evans, Chris Godwin (when back from injury), and free-agent addition Russell Gage to throw to. Gage had more receiving yards than every Packers receiver not named Davante Adams in 2021. He’s the third option in Tampa Bay, potentially the fourth if Rob Gronkowski returns.

The Bucs also strengthened their offensive line and drafted running back Rachaad White in the third round this offseason.

Tampa Bay is going all-in for another championship.

The Packers will play the Buccaneers on the road, meaning we get another chapter in the Aaron Rodgers-Tom Brady rivalry.

Brady’s Bucs have gotten the better of the Packers so far, but this should make for a fascinating game between two Super Bowl contenders.
