Round 7 (233): Ja’Von Hicks, S, Cincinnati

It would be strange to see the Packers not leave the 2023 NFL Draft with multiple safeties, and Ja’Von Hicks is intriguing this late in this mock draft. He has special teams experience along with playing all around the Bearcats defense. He has ball production at the catch point, good instincts in coverage, and he plays a physical style of football.

Round 7 (236): Jadon Haselwood, WR, Arkansas

With all the speed now on the roster after the selection of Jarrett, adding another possession receiver makes sense at the end of the draft. Jadon Haselwood can provide that reliability in the intermediate part of the field. He would be a solid chain mover along with Romeo Doubs.

Round 7 (243): Mikel Jones, LB, Syracuse

Linebacker depth isn’t talked about a whole lot because of De’Vondre Campbell and Quay Walker, but it’s something that’s worth addressing with this many picks late. Mikel Jones would be a solid depth addition to the room with good run and chase skills.

Round 7 (255): Darrell Luter Jr., CB, South Alabama

Corner is another position where the Packers shouldn’t stand pat. Darrell Luter Jr. provides exceptional size for the position, and he has a chance to generate some buzz down in Mobile at the Senior Bowl.

Round 7 (258): Loic Ngassam Nya, OL, Wake Forest

The interior offensive line feels a bit better with Elgton Jenkins signed, but there are already questions with third-round pick Sean Rhyan. Loic Ngassam Nya would be another smart dip into the Wake Forest talent pool.
