5 Packers players who likely played their final game for the team
1. Randall Cobb
You will struggle to find a more popular player in Green Bay than Randall Cobb.
Cobb is loved by the fans, and for good reason. He is a great person, gives his all for the team, and has provided some of the most memorable moments of the past decade.
From an NFC North-winning catch in 2013, multiple game-winners over the Chicago Bears, a three-touchdown playoff performance versus the New York Giants, and countless other moments, Cobb has done it all.
Cobb spent the first eight seasons of his career with the Packers, before spending one season at both the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans.
The Packers traded for Cobb before the start of the 2021 season, and he quickly reestablished his connection with Aaron Rodgers. Cobb made 62 receptions in the past two years, of which an impressive 40 went for first downs.
However, Cobb will enter his age-33 season in 2023. Will he continue to play? Again, maybe Aaron Rodgers’ future will play a part in what’s next for Cobb.
But Cobb is set to become a free agent in March. He walked off the field alongside Aaron Rodgers after the season-ending defeat to the Detroit Lions, an emotional moment.
Was this the last time we will see Rodgers and Cobb together in Green Bay?
