Aaron Rodgers sure sounds like he misses Packers after Week 8 loss

He isn't having very much fun right now.

Week 8 of the NFL season had been quite eventful through just the early slate of games, and we had plenty of football left to go. Already, the Green Bay Packers had pulled out a close victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

It was too close for comfort in a game that the Packers, quite frankly, should have come out on top by double-digits. However, there were multiple factors which made it closer than it should have been. The big one was obviously the Jordan Love injury, which we'll have to continue watching for updates.

Meanwhile, a former Packers quarterback is not exactly having as much fun as Love has been this year, despite his injuries. After Aaron Rodgers left the Packers for the New York Jets, he thought he'd be in the running for another Super Bowl if his new team was able to do enough around him.

Well, after a Week 8 loss to the lowly New England Patriots, Rodgers and his Jets are sitting with a complete opposite record as the Packers. The Jets are 2-6 while Green Bay is now 6-2. Sure, the Love injury put a damper on this victory. But, as it stands, Green Bay is in a whole lot better position than Rodgers and the Jets.

After the Jets' loss to New England on Sunday, Rodgers got the distinct pleasure of speaking with the New York media, as he always does, and his postgame comments were ... well, very Rodgers-esque.

Rodgers was asked about where his emotions stood after the loss, to which he responded "Frustration, for sure."

Prior to Rodgers' time with the media, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich was asked about the loss to which he responded to this being a "moment of darkness."

Of course, the media had to ask Rodgers about his coach's words. Rodgers' response? Gold.

Packer fans can laugh at Aaron Rodgers' postgame comments following another loss

First of all, fans will remember when Rodgers took his odd vacation to indeed spend some alone time in the darkness. Apparently there's an official term for it. Rodgers took a "darkness retreat."

So, he knows what he's talking about, folks.

That darkness retreat came at the end of his Packers tenure and before he chose to have a hand in his own trade to the Jets. It was also toward the peak of Rodgers' weird personality during his time wiht the Packers.

As years went on, Rodgers seemed to get more and more odd; he continued to get more "out there," if you will.

Packers fans remember Rodgers' odd personality well, and now, they get to sit back and laugh as he and his Jets have lost five games in a row. Even after firing Robert Saleh, that didn't help. They went out and traded for former Packers wide receiver Davante Adams. That also hasn't seemed to help.

Rodgers must really miss his old stomping grounds.
