Caleb Williams gets savage with his latest shade thrown at Packers

The Packers never need extra motivation against the Bears, but Caleb Williams has certainly provided some.

The Green Bay Packers typically don't need any extra motivation when they battle the Chicago Bears.

After all, these two historic franchises have squared off an NFL record 210 times over the last 100-plus years.

The Packers own a 108-96-6 record against their longtime rivals in the all-time series, by the way. They're also at the top of the all-time victories list, with the Bears sitting in second, and have also won a league-high 13 total championships, four more than the second-place Bears, who've won nine. Green Bay also gets the nod in Super Bowl victories with a 4-1 edge.

None of that is really relevant here, but there's no denying the Packers take pride in besting the Bears in just about every way imaginable. And Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams has now given Green Bay a little extra incentive to continue its overall dominance.

Bears QB Caleb Williams trolled the Packers in new commercial for Topps

Appearing alongside legendary Super Bowl-winning Bears quarterback Jim McMahon in a new commercial for trading card and collectibles company Topps, Williams is seen getting tips from the famed "punky QB" about how to sign an autograph.

Late in the ad, when working on inscriptions, Williams casually writes "Green Bay sucks" above his signature and number.

Perhaps remembering that he won a second ring with the Packers as Brett Favre's backup, McMahon replies, "I like it, but no."

Here's a look at the full spot, which is actually quite hysterical, even with the dig.

What's wild is that Topps has confirmed that the "Green Bay sucks" card is a real thing and can be found in certain packs of the 2024 Chrome collection.

To his credit, Williams did help the Bears break their 11-game losing streak to the Packers back in January, completing 21 of 29 passes for 148 yards with a touchdown in the 24-22 Week 18 win.

That said, however, it must be noted that with Green Bay having already locked up the No. 6 seed on the NFC side of the postseason bracket, Matt LaFleur was resting several starters. Quarterback Jordan Love and wide receiver Christian Watson were also lost to injuries that afternoon at Lambeau Field.

So, perhaps that win should be taken with a grain of salt.

Even so, however, the Packers won't forget that loss. And as hilarious as Williams' new commercial may be, they likely won't forget "Green Bay sucks" when they take the field against the Bears in 2025.
