Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs returned to practice on Wednesday. Watson aims to get back from an ankle injury that sidelined him against the Los Angeles Rams, while Doubs and the Green Bay Packers move forward after last week's suspension.

Understandably, head coach Matt LaFleur and Packers players faced questions about Doubs during Wednesday's media session. For the most part, they declined to comment beyond giving support to their receiver. Jordan Love didn't want to go into details but said he is "excited" to have Doubs back, who he has a "good relationship" with.

Watson also showed support for his fellow 2022 draft pick, but he gave an honest answer about the situation.

Watson and Doubs are the leaders of a young receiving corps. They entered the league together in 2022 and have played important roles in this offense ever since. Watson showed his support for Doubs in a very honest way.

"Two days isn't gonna ruin the three years of work and commitment he's put in for us," said Watson. "It'll definitely be a little weird right away just because it was a pretty significant situation for him."

It's an honest answer from Watson, who admits it will be a "little weird" at first while also recognizing it was a "pretty significant situation" for Doubs. Following that, Watson said he still doesn't know the specifics of what happened.

"We all have our own individual goals, so you really never truly know what somebody's thinking and I'll never wanna talk down on anyone's mental health," said Watson. I don't really still know the exact specifics of the situation, but whenever someone's going through something, they do things that you wouldn't really expect from them."

As always, Watson gave a classy response. He was honest yet respectful and supportive of his teammate. Watson has become a leader in the locker room and plays such an important role beyond just the catches he makes.

Hopefully, Doubs and the Packers have resolved the situation and are ready to get back on track this week. He will need to regain the coaching staff's trust, which is understandable, but his return to practice is a step in the right direction.

The Packers need Doubs, and he will continue to play a key role in the offense. We're all rooting for a big performance against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
