The Green Bay Packers seem to be getting healthier just in time for the toughest stretch of the season.

Over the next seven weeks, the Packers play the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, and San Francisco 49ers. Talk about an important stretch. Getting healthier comes at just the right time.

Romeo Doubs returned to practice for the first time since his one-game suspension, which is a promising sign. It indicates the Packers have found a resolution with their third-year wide receiver and can move forward.

Christian Watson, who missed last week's game due to an ankle injury, practiced on Wednesday. It's another step in the right direction.

Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs return to Packers practice ahead of Week 6

The Packers' offense lacked consistency in last week's win over the Los Angeles Rams, and it's fair to assume the absence of Watson and Doubs contributed to that. Getting both third-year receivers back in the lineup would give the entire offense a boost.

Doubs should return from suspension, assuming he has figured things out with Matt LaFleur. Watson's status is less clear, but he is trending in the right direction.

Getting the former second-rounder back would be huge.

"We missed him last weekend," said head coach Matt LaFleur. "We're excited to get him back there and hopefully he'll continue to progress through the course of the week."

That's encouraging.

Devonte Wyatt was the only player not practicing, but LaFleur said the hope is he will avoid injured reserve. LaFleur added that Wyatt is making progress and is out of the walking boot. His status for Week 6 seems doubtful, but he is moving in the right direction.

Another notable sign? Jordan Love is no longer on the injury report. He looked healthy last week and logged multiple full practices. He is now fully recovered from the sprained MCL that cost him two games.

The Packers' injury report is long, but having almost everyone on the practice field is a promising sign so early in the week. Hopefully, the team can avoid suffering any new injuries during practice, which has already hurt this team multiple times this season.
