The Green Bay Packers are close to full strength and getting healthier ahead of Week 7. The same isn't true for the Houston Texans after ruling out several key starters for Sunday's highly-anticipated matchup.

Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks escaped a serious injury and has practiced all week, which is a good sign, but he is questionable for Sunday's game.

Defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt was the only player not to practice on Friday, and he is officially out of Sunday's game against the Texans. He still hasn't practiced in the three weeks since suffering the injury against the Minnesota Vikings, raising questions about why the Packers didn't place him on injured reserve, which requires a four-game absence but frees up a roster spot.

Head coach Matt LaFleur hopes Wyatt can return in Week 8.

"I know he's been moving around quite a bit and he's walking normal," said LaFleur. "He's been working out, running. So, hopefully, next week he'll be ready to go."

The Packers have also listed defensive lineman Colby Wooden as questionable as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

Packers will face an injury-hit Texans defense in Week 7

The Texans face significant injury problems ahead of this game. They were already without wide receiver Nico Collins, who is on injured reserve, and several starters could miss Sunday's game in Green Bay.

Houston has already ruled out five players.

Linebackers Azeez Al-Shaair and Henry To'oTo'o, cornerback Kamari Lassiter, safety Jimmie Ward, and wide receiver Robert Woods will miss the game on Sunday. That's significant. Without two of their starting linebackers and two key starters in the secondary, the Packers can find favorable matchups in the passing game.

It's a different story for Green Bay, with LaFleur's squad nearing full strength, especially on offense.

Guard Elgton Jenkins is off the injury report after practicing in full on Friday, while wide receivers Christian Watson and Jayden Reed are also good to go. Hopefully, Wicks will be able to play after practicing throughout the week.

Rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd won't return from injured reserve this week, but head coach Matt LaFleur dropped a hint that he is close.

The Packers are the much healthier team entering Week 7, but the Texans still have a lot of talented players on both sides of the ball, making this arguably Green Bay's biggest test of the season so far.
