The Green Bay Packers didn't practice on Monday, but they released their first injury report ahead of their Thanksgiving Day game against the Miami Dolphins.

As expected, the early signs indicate the Packers will miss wide receiver Romeo Doubs in this game. Doubs exited the win over the San Francisco 49ers due to a concussion, and considering the quick turnaround between games, it seems unlikely he will return in time. The Packers play again on Thursday Night Football in Week 14.

Doubs was one of several Packers listed as not participating at practice. Again, the Packers didn't practice on Monday, so this was an estimation.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper missed Sunday's win over the 49ers, and they also sat out of practice to begin the week. It seems safe to assume they won't return in time for Thanksgiving, either.

Packers could miss several key players vs. Dolphins in Week 13

Some new names were added to the Packers' injury report, including Doubs and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie. With Cooper already dealing with an injury, Green Bay may need to turn to rookie Ty'Ron Hopper if McDuffie is unable to go. It helps that Quay Walker is coming off his best game of the season (and potentially his career).

It's encouraging to see Josh Jacobs' status listed as non-injury related. He has played through back, quad, and calf injuries this season and dealt with cramps during the 49ers game.

Assuming Doubs can't go, the Packers will need to lean on Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks to fill the void alongside Jayden Reed, and they may also call on Malik Heath. He stepped up with two catches for 15 yards and a touchdown following Doubs' injury on Sunday.

Entering another game without Alexander would be less than ideal, especially against a Dolphins offense featuring Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Odell Beckham Jr. at wide receiver. Tight end Jonnu Smith is also having a fantastic season. Jeff Hafley's defense must find a way to slow down an ascending Dolphins team that has looked unstoppable since Tua Tagovailoa's return.

There isn't any rest for either team on a short week. Matt LaFleur admitted he stays at Lambeau Field overnight due to the quick turnaround, and the Packers must quickly adjust with the Dolphins coming to town. It helps that Green Bay gets to play consecutive home games while Miami must travel across the country.
