Typically, most NFL teams have a 24-hour rule. Whether you win or lose the game, by the time that players report back to the practice facility the next week, they're expected to have moved on to the next week. Obviously that's easier said than done, but it's a rule that's come up in basically every NFL press conference that's ever existed.
The only problem is that this week, the Green Bay Packers don't have 24 hours to enjoy the win. And I'd argue they barely have 24 minutes.
With Green Bay playing on Thanksgiving this year, the Packers are moving away from their normal routine in favor of one that sounds, among other things, incredibly miserable. While talking to media after their Week 12 win over the San Francisco 49ers, Matt LaFleur outlined a bit of what that looks like.

Packers' Thanksgiving week schedule sounds kinda miserable, to be honest
"Pretty much, yeah," LaFleur said when asked if he was staying at Lambeau Field overnight. "I'm going to go right back to my office, watch the game, put the game to bed. Over the bye week, I watched pretty much every snap of Miami, knowing that this was coming. So there was a preliminary plan for that. Now just have to watch a couple games here. We've got to put a plan together here, hopefully, by tomorrow by noon. So that is a quick turnaround."
That sounds awful. Even just reading that makes me exhausted. Imagine having to immediately go back to work after beating one of your team's biggest rivals that also happens to be coached by one of your very best friends.
It's not just the coaches, either: earlier in the press conference, LaFleur talked about how players were already getting treatment that they might usually wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to do normally. By the time LaFleur met with the media, the Packers had already moved on to their next game. No wonder he joked that it felt like midnight.
Obviously, every NFL team has to deal with this at some point, and not many people out there are in the business of feeling bad for the Green Bay Packers. But anyone who's worked late can sympathize with this, at least in part. If they come out against Miami and play one of the most unwatchable games of their entire season, at least we'll all know why.
