Not only was Greg Olsen among the NFL's elite tight ends during his 14-year career, but now he's arguably the best announcer in the game.

Olsen is also a Jordan Love fan. The Green Bay Packers' star quarterback is coming off arguably the best performance of his career against Aaron Rodgers' Pittsburgh Steelers. Speaking on the TV broadcast for the Packers' game against the Carolina Panthers, Olsen said he believes Love is in the MVP conversation.

"That's been Jordan Love the entire season. I have him as a top three to five quarterback in the entire league this year. He's playing himself, as this season unfolds, into that MVP conversation, if Green Bay continues to win," Olsen said on the FOX broadcast.

It's hard to disagree. Tom Brady said something similar earlier this week, saying Love is a "dark horse in the MVP race."

Despite that, the odds haven't been as kind to Love. He remains disrespected in the MVP race, despite entering Week 8 having completed 70.9 percent of his passes for 1,798 yards, 13 touchdowns, and just two interceptions. He also ranks No. 1 among all quarterbacks (minimum 25 snaps) for EPA/play this season, per SumerSports.

Love completed 20 straight passes against the Steelers, tying Brett Favre's franchise record.

Now, he aims to lead the Packers to another victory over the Carolina Panthers. Green Bay has only lost one game this season, but it needs to keep stacking victories with tough games against the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions to come in the weeks ahead.

The Packers made a slow start against the Panthers, in part due to an early Savion Williams fumble, too many penalties, and the Panthers bossing time of possession. Green Bay may need another MVP performance from Love.
