Jayden Reed may have just revealed blockbuster Packers trade with cryptic post

Isn't this fun?!

There are lots of ways to sit through the NFL Trade Deadline today. You can ignore it entirely – which probably isn't that bad of an idea, frankly – or you can casually follow along, checking in with your favorite and most trustworthy beat writers to get your information. Either of those paths will lead you to a nice, (relatively) peacefull Tuesday afternoon and evening.

There is, however, another way. You should be warned: this way isn't entirely for the faint of heart, but it's arguably the most fun. You could read way, way too much into social media posts. There is nothing of value to take from social media, but that shouldn't stop you from getting overly excited about the absolute tiniest hint you can find. Life is too short to be practical about the NFL Trade Deadline. This is the closest the league comes to being a real life Madden simulation, so why not kick back and enjoy thinking, just for a moment, that your favorite team might trade for Maxx Crosby.

And bless the Packers: they know that you're jonesing for some total speculation. There's definitely, totally, absolutely no other reason why Green Bay wide receiver Jayden Reed would post a picture of Browns' cornerback Greg Newsome on Instagram this morning. It's happening; book it, and then credit Jayden Reed.

Jayden Reed may have hinted at a Packers trade for Greg Newsome

Maybe sometimes you just want to post cool pics of your boys, but I dunno. I think Jayden Reed is telling us that the Packers are going to trade for Greg Newsome. He's been on the Packers' radar for a while now – at least, on Packers' fans radars – and their secondary could certainly use the help. And sure, if you looked at Newsome's stats or Pro Football Focus grades, you may think that this could be a "bad" "idea," but numbers are for dorks. The league runs on Instagram posts and vibes now.

So it's either definitely happening. There's no other reason why anyone would go on Instagram, if not to report trades. Before you start eye rolling again, I did warn you that this way of living wasn't for the faint of heart.
