Draft and develop? Youngest team in the league that's building for the future and playing with house money? Forget that. The Green Bay Packers pushed their chips all the way in.

Green Bay delivered a first-round wide receiver and an earth-shattering trade for Micah Parsons. Former Packers coach Jon Gruden gets it, and he delivered a legendary promo about how this team is all-in to "win it all now."

"You hear it every year, 'Oh boy, Green Bay drafts and develops. All these receivers, drafted and developed," Gruden said on his YouTube channel. "Shut up! You know what they just did? They did the same thing Ron Wolf did when I was in Green Bay."

He wasn't done.

"This is what the Packers did when I was there. We went out and got Reggie Freakin' White, the Minister of Defense. That isn't drafting and developing, is it?" Gruden added. "You think Xavier McKinney, who had eight interceptions, is drafting and developing? No. You think Josh Jacobs was drafted and developed? Hell no. Green Bay is on a mission to win it all now. And Micah Parsons is their version of Reggie Freakin' White."

Be right back. Just going to run through the nearest wall.

Jon Gruden is 100 percent correct about the Packers' all-in move with Micah Parsons

It's hard to compare any player to Reggie White, one of the greatest pass-rushers of all time. But Parsons has earned it. A year ago, he became the second player to record 12-plus sacks in each of their opening four seasons. White was the only other player to accomplish that.

The Packers didn't just go all-in because they traded away their next two first-round picks, nor because they included Pro Bowler Kenny Clark in the package to land Parsons. It's the contract. They made Parsons the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history on a four-year extension worth $188 million.

Per Packers cap expert Ken Ingalls, Parsons' cap hits rise to $64.29 million and $68.29 million in 2028 and 2029, respectively. The Packers will also have to deal with a Jordan Love cap hit north of $75 million.

The NFL world heaped praise on Green Bay after it exceeded expectations and reached the divisional round two seasons ago.

Those days are gone. The Packers have arrived in territory not seen since Aaron Rodgers left town: it's Super Bowl or bust.

Gruden is right. The Packers went all-in with Reggie White, just like they are now with Parsons. And the comparisons don't stop there. Brett Favre won the Super Bowl at 27 years old. So did Rodgers.

Love turns 27 in less than two months.

The Packers brought him Xavier McKinney and Josh Jacobs. They found him a first-round receiver in Matthew Golden. Now, they've sent two premium draft picks and a 29-year-old Pro Bowler packing to ensure Micah Parsons, this era's Reggie White, is here to help make it happen.

Gruden delivered a promo that John Cena would be proud of. But he also hit the nail on the head. Draft and develop? Pfft. Brian Gutekunst's Packers are all-in.

Brett Favre had Reggie White and Aaron Rodgers had Charles Woodson. Now, Jordan Love has his defensive star, and these Packers might just win it all.
