The Green Bay Packers are set to take on the Chicago Bears for the rubber match between these two teams, and just like the previous two contests, the stakes are incredibly high. This time, however, it's win or go home.
The last time the Packers went to Chicago, Malik Willis had to take over for the injured Jordan Love, only to watch a fourth-quarter lead evaporate, and the Bears win a thriller in overtime. That kind of loss stings, and it's one the Packers will have undoubtedly taken personally.
Perhaps nobody more so than Jordan Love, who couldn't be out there for his team. Love will have a chance now to avenge Malik Willis, who played well as his replacement in that loss. We're going to predict Love's comeback stat line as well as make a couple of other scorching-hot predictions for what should be an epic matchup between these two NFC North rivals.
Jordan Love goes off in bold predictions for Packers-Bears Part III
1. Jordan Love has multiple rushing TDs
The elements could be ugly in Chicago this weekend. That doesn't exactly play to the strengths of the Packers, who love to air it out and push the ball vertically. But when the elements necessitate physicality, you've got to make it happen.
One of my first predictions for this game is that Love will have multiple rushing touchdowns and avenge Willis. Heck, even getting one rushing touchdown would be a bold prediction for Love, who doesn't have any this season, and only had one of them all of last season.
Having Josh Jacobs around gives the Packers a much better (and consistent) option in short-yardage situations, but in a game where the elements are a factor, you have to have a quarterback who knows when to tuck it and run, and when to let it fly. In a game with rain and wind (or even snow), we might see Love take matters into his own hands in the red zone if he gets the chance.
2. Josh Jacobs has 160-plus yards from scrimmage
If the elements are as big a factor as expected, then this is going to be a Josh Jacobs game. The Packers are obviously used to playing in adverse conditions at Lambeau Field, but no amount of games played in the cold can really help you adapt to games played in the wind and rain/snow. It's going to come down to which team can limit turnovers and run the ball well, and on paper, that would immediately seem to favor the Bears.

But this is a game in which the Packers can really feature Jacobs. I think he's going to have a massive workload in this game and get at least 160 yards from scrimmage.
And he might join Love in the touchdown party. How funny would it be if Love had a couple of rushing touchdowns and Jacobs had a receiving touchdown? Whatever it takes to move forward in the postseason.
3. Packers defense forces three fumbles
Once again, the adverse conditions and unpredictable weather will make ball security a premium. If it's rainy or sloppy out there on the field, it's going to be difficult for these players to keep control of the ball. That goes for the Packers as well, but we're manifesting positivity for Green Bay.
Caleb Williams had a whopping nine fumbles this year, but D'Andre Swift only had two. The Bears didn't give the ball away all that often in the regular season in 2025, but as we saw with the Los Angeles Chargers in last year's playoffs, that doesn't really matter.
I'm calling three forced fumbles in this game for the Packers, which will set up at least one of those Love rushing touchdowns we talked about.
