In an offseason where we're still talking about former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers because he's been dragging out his impending decision as long as possible, here we are again, with another update (sort of) on the veteran.

Appearing on Pat McAfee for the first time in a while, Rodgers commented on topics such as interest from the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers, his off-field life at the moment and, yes, even a potential retirement.

On this very same day, though, current Packers quarterback Jordan Love also appeared in a live interview. This one was a little more fun-loving, though, as Love joined Kay Adams on her show Up & Adams.

One of the questions Love was asked, of course, had to be in regards to Rodgers. Specifically, the Packers quarterback was asked about his thoughts on whether Rodgers will end up calling it a career rather than continuing to play in 2025.

Jordan Love wants Aaron Rodgers in the NFL in 2025

"I'm not even going to speak on that. We'll see. I hope that's not the case, watching that man play, I definitely think he's got some more years in the tank," he said.

"That was my mentor coming into the league so I would hate to see him go out. He's had a phenomenal career; definitely a Hall of Famer. We'll see. I don't think he's ready to end it though."

From there, the NFL personality had an easy next question.

"I feel like you want to beat him before he goes," Adams responded.

"I want to beat everybody," Love said with a smile.

Adams did allude to the fact that Green Bay plays both the Steelers and Vikings this coming season, with the latter being a division rival, of course. So, the idea that Love could face Rodgers in a head-to-head battle is looking more and more realistic as time goes on.

It's especially more realistic after everything we heard Rodgers tell McAfee on Thursday. It sure sounded like he badly wanted to play for either Pittsburgh or Minnesota with how much he talked about his time spent with Mike Tomlin and his relationship with Kevin O'Connell.

As is per usual with these conversations over the last couple of months, we're just going to have to continue to wait until Rodgers' decision becomes official.

For a man who says he'd like people to stop talking about him, he sure invites plenty of publicity.

So, to Aaron, we say: you're welcome?
