Jordan Love pounding the table for one Packers playmaker (and it's not who you think)

Summer months are full of anticipation for those who simply cannot live without football. Thankfully, the Green Bay Packers are in the middle of their mandatory minicamp and have given the fan base plenty of content to watch, read and talk about.

One of the more notable, recent quotes out of minicamp came from quarterback Jordan Love when talking about the offense. Specifically, Love continues to pound the table for tight end Tucker Kraft.

"A big part of going into this season is finding ways to continuing getting Tuck the ball. Get him as many touches as we can in a game. He's a dynamic playmaker. That's going to be a focus," Love told Packers media after a recent practice.

There has been much talk about the wide receiver group, especially after the team added two in this year's draft between Matthew Golden and Savion Williams. But, Love seems just as excited (if not more) about the continued emergence and usage from his top tight end.

Jordan Love is right on about Tucker Kraft being a necessary focal point for the offense

Here's some more logic behind Love's words, and it's very basic. The more this offense gets a dynamic, playmaking tight end involved, the easier it's going to be to deploy the diverse group of wide receivers.

If Kraft is able to be more integrated and become a focal point like that of a George Kittle, for example, it's going to allow Matt LaFleur to be even more creative with players like Golden and Jayden Reed. This offense could be explosive, but much does depend on the involvement and usage of Kraft.

He has shown the ability to completely take over with just one play at times, so why wouldn't they want to get Kraft more touches? Plus, the guy sure has a way with words.

If Kraft continues proving he demands attention from opposing defenses, that will only take more attention from the likes of the Packers' top wideouts. There is a world where Kraft is able to top 60 receptions, and if he does, we could see someone like Golden become a true downfield threat and go for 6-to-10 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Reed is going to have more opportunities to get moved around and find the football quickly, and in space. Kraft is a key, and if he's used correctly, he'll unlock this offense's potential in a massive way.
