Green Bay Packers fans had a bit of a scare this week when Tucker Kraft popped up on the injury report with a shoulder injury. Kraft, a third-round pick in the 2023 draft, found himself in the TE1 role for the Packers this season, so the injury was concerning.

Fortunately, not only does it appear that Kraft is going to be okay, but he gave the quote of all quotes when talking about his health.

While wearing the red non-contact jersey during practice (in which he was a limited participant), Kraft said, "Every morning I wake up feeling even better and come Sunday I'll be ready to try to tear somebody's face off again. It'll be good."

Tucker Kraft's quote should fire up Packers fans entering Week 3

The Packers spent a third-round pick on Kraft in the 2023 NFL Draft after he had a standout career at South Dakota State. The Packers had already spent a second-round pick on Luke Musgrave in the same draft but the decision to add two tight ends early in the draft was a smart one.

Kraft has ascended into the starting role and has four catches for 53 yards on the season through two games. Last season saw him finish with 31 catches for 355 yards and two touchdowns. He's also been a terrific blocker, which tight ends used to be more known for in the old-school style of football.

The Packers helped Malik Willis out in his first start as a Packer by running the ball down Indianapolis' throat and the end result was 261 rushing yards by the Green Bay rushing attack. Josh Jacobs ran for 151 yards and Kraft was part of the blocking that helped set up that lethal run game from the Packers offense.

To sum up, not having Kraft would be a huge dent in the Packers' offensive plans for their Week 3 matchup with Tennessee. That quote does not sound like a quote that would be uttered by a man not playing this week, however. If Kraft is able to play, it sounds like he's about to go off against the Titans, which is excellent news for Packers fans.
