Kenny Clark spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers after the franchise selected him in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He earned three Pro Bowl nods in that span.

Packers fans watched him grow up as he joined the team as a 20-year-old and departed just over a month shy of his 30th birthday. In that span, Clark became the longest tenured player on Green Bay's roster, as well as a locker room leader.

The news that he was being sent to the Dallas Cowboys as part of the return for Micah Parsons shocked both him and the fanbase. Despite being unceremoniously traded, Clark revealed that he has plenty of love for the organization.

Clark appeared to be one of the rare players who would spend his entire career with one franchise. It was not to be, however, as the opportunity to acquire Parsons was too good to pass up.

Ahead of his first career matchup against the Packers, Clark revealed his feelings on the organization. Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official website shared his comments.

"I don't remember a day that I didn't love coming into work," said Clark. "This is just what I love to do. I love to play football. I loved being around the guys. I built a lot of bonds with those guys. I want to be remembered for all that kind of stuff."

Clark also noted that his family took the trade harder than he did, as he understands the business. Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette shared those comments.

"My mom was hot. My mom was hot. My girl, my brothers, they were all pretty emotional about it," said Clark. "I had to explain to them, everybody gets this call if you play long enough."

While many players would harbor some type of ill will towards a franchise for shipping them out right before the start of the season, Clark has shown why he was so beloved in Green Bay by continuing to praise the organization. He has expressed that he plans to spoil Parsons' homecoming to AT&T Stadium, which should be expected from any competitor.

The long-time Packers star has had a strong start in Dallas despite being on a defense that has been awful to start the season. Clark has posted a 73.7 PFF grade, recording 10 total tackles, four solo tackles, one tackle for loss, 1.0 sacks, and one quarterback hit.
