The Green Bay Packers finally got back into the win column after losing their previous two games against the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles. On the road, the Packers took on the New York Giants, and emerged with the 27-20 victory.

Quarterback Jordan Love played the role of hero in that game, throwing a clutch touchdown to wide receiver Christian Watson late in the fourth quarter. This came after Love left the game early due to a left shoulder injury. He would ultimately return for the second half. Another star player on offense who exited the game was running back Josh Jacobs due to a knee injury, but he never returned.

After the game, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was asked for an update on Jacobs' injury. LaFleur provided a vague, yet ominous, update on Jacobs.

"I think anytime a player, especially of his magnitude, doesn’t finish a game, you're always concerned about the welfare of them," said LaFleur.

Not much was provided by LaFleur about Jacobs' knee injury. It's unknown what the severity of the ailment is, although ESPN's Rob Demovsky and Adam Schefter note that it's "not believed to be season-ending." All that's known is that it was enough for Jacobs to miss the remainder of the game against the Giants. If Jacobs is to miss time, it will hurt the Packers' chances to win games.

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk reports that "all field tests and X-rays" revealed that Jacobs' knee was stable and intact. Additionally, Florio reports that Jacobs will undergo further testing on Monday.

Jacobs hasn't had as much success carrying the football as he did last year. After averaging 4.4 yards per carry last season, Jacobs entered this game averaging just 3.8 rushing yards per attempt. But he is one of the top-scoring running backs in the NFL, as his 11 rushing touchdowns are the second-most by a running back this season, behind only Jonathan Taylor (15).

Before leaving with the injury, Jacobs ran for 40 yards on seven carries.

Packers fans are going to hope for the best on Monday, where they will get a better idea of what kind of injury Jacobs is dealing with. But for those looking for immediate answers from LaFleur, the head coach didn't provide anything.
