Turn on a Micah Parsons play, any play, and you'll see the same thing. Offensive linemen holding on for dear life, fully aware that if they don't grab his jersey or his facemask, they stand no chance. Breaking the rules is suddenly OK, as the refs rarely call it.
It has become a frustrating watch for Green Bay Packers fans, but it's ultimately something Parsons has dealt with throughout his career. The Dallas Cowboys voiced similar concerns during his time there, and now Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is planning to find his own solution.
"That's definitely going to be a conversation pregame," LaFleur said.
Matt LaFleur plans to get ahead of the Micah Parsons non-calls before Packers-Cardinals
It's a smart move, and honestly, all LaFleur can do. He didn't say whether the Packers have submitted any footage to the NFL, which is the route the Cowboys took when they faced a similar problem.
LaFleur pointing it out to the officiating crew is one way to help. Let them know how blatant it is, as it almost gives them no choice but to call it. The Packers' head coach is well aware, and while he understands that every team holds, to a point, some non-calls are just ridiculous.
"It's frustrating when it's blatant. Those should get called, right?" he said earlier this week.

Those blatant calls have reached absurd levels in recent weeks. And who could blame the offensive linemen? If the refs are letting it go, why not throw out the rulebook and do whatever it takes?
It still hasn't stopped Parsons, who boasts Pro Football Focus' second-best pass-rush grade among edge defenders. But just imagine the level he could reach if the officials didn't allow all of the ridiculous rule-breaking against him on seemingly every play?
LaFleur sees what we're all seeing, and he plans to address it before the Packers take the field on Sunday.
