Micah Parsons found himself at the center of the Chicago Bears fan base on Monday, thanks to a video from the NFL. The league's official social media page shared a teaser for the Top 100 Players of 2026: the NFL's annual ranking of the best players, determined by the players.

The 30-second preview starts with a producer asking, "Who do you think will be number one on the list this year?" That was followed by some of the game's best players referencing different stars in the league, as if that was their answer to the question.

That's why when Parsons appeared on the screen and said, "Yeah, Iceman," Bears fans erupted into a victory lap. It seemed as if the best player on the Green Bay Packers' biggest rival was making the case that Caleb Williams, whose nickname is Iceman, is the best player in the NFL. If that happened, Bears fans would certainly have a reason to troll Green Bay.

Unfortunately for Chicago, Parsons is making it clear that's not what happened. The star defender took to social media and simply accused the NFL of clip farming, clearing his name, helping Packers fans exhale, and making Bears fans pump the brakes.

The purpose of a teaser is to get people talking by only providing a glimpse into something, but the full show is supposed to tell the story.

The league certainly got people talking on Monday, but Bears fans didn't have the patience to wait for the full show and find out the context behind Parsons' Iceman comment.

The good thing is that Parsons has never been hesitant to speak out, so it didn't take long for him to put this narrative to bed. Bears fans will have to now find another angle, or go back to the fact that they finally experienced some success against Green Bay.

To Chicago's credit, there's no edit necessary to see that the Bears currently have bragging rights over the Packers. Chicago pulled off two epic wins the last time the two teams met, including in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. However, Parsons has only played one game against the Bears as a member of the Packers, and Green Bay won. The defender will try to stay on the winning side of the rivalry in 2026.
