The Green Bay Packers will play on Sunday Night Football in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys, and the storyline for this primetime game is clear: Micah Parsons is returning to face his former team for the first time.

The entire NFL world watched his relationship with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones sour this offseason. Now everyone will watch as he returns to Jerry's World while playing for the opposing team.

With games like this one, the fans also play an important role as well, as everyone waits to see if they will cheer or boo their former franchise player.

Parsons spoke with the media on Wednesday, and he was honest about what he expects from Cowboys fans.

"You know, I think Dallas loves me," Parsons told reporters (h/t Rob Demovsky of ESPN). "I think they're going to give me a good round of applause. There's no hard feelings there, at least from me, and I think it's going to be, like I said, it's going to be a great atmosphere."

Fans can be a bit unpredictable, but it's clear why Parsons believes he's still on the good side of Cowboys fans. Even though he requested a trade as a negotiation tactic, it has been made clear since his move to Green Bay that his true intentions were to stay in Dallas.

The only reason he's currently on the Packers is because Jerry Jones decided it was time to move on. The trade ultimately left everyone mad at Jones, not Parsons. Because of that, there's a chance the defender might not be booed.

While Parsons doesn't have any hard feelings for the fan base or his former teammates, it's clear he feels spurned by Jones. The Dallas owner has already announced there will be no video tribute for Parsons in his return, and the edge defender says he doesn't see that as disrespectful. However, he did admit to feeling disrespected by plenty of other things throughout this entire process.

In the end, Parsons says he is glad to be with the Packers, and the only tribute he's hoping for on Sunday night is a win for his current team.
