The Green Bay Packers and their fan base have been waiting for this announcement all offseason, and it finally happened. Former Dallas Cowboys star edge rusher Micah Parsons is now in the Green and Gold, and the Pack may be Super Bowl frontrunners.

Parsons is reportedly signing a four-year, $188 million dollar deal upon his arrival in Green Bay, according to NFL Network's Ian Rappoport. While this kind of money was expected for one of the league's best players, the trade details are even better.

Rapoport followed up his initial report by providing exactly what the Packers sent the Cowboys in return for the 26-year-old star. Here is what Green Bay gave up, and it truly feels that they made out like bandits in the deal.

Packers fleeced Cowboys in Micah Parsons trade

The Packers will send two future first-round picks to Jerry Jones and the Cowboys, as well as 2016 first-round pick Kenny Clark, who will be playing in his age-30 season in 2025.

Giving up two first-rounders for Parsons was an obvious component of this deal, but the Packers only having to give up Clark, who regressed last season after three Pro Bowl campaigns in five years, is a major steal.

Now, Green Bay has a superstar edge rusher to get after the quarterback opposite Rashan Gary, who has been developing into somewhat of a star in his own right. Now, with the focus primarily on Parsons, the entire Packers defense should thrive.

Dallas needed a solid defensive tackle, so there is some silver lining there for America's team. However, they sorely lose this deal, as owner Jerry Jones could only manage two first-rounders and a potentially over-the-hill player for one of the league's best, who has years of his prime left.

$47 million is a lot of money for one player, but this is Micah Parsons we are talking about. Without exaggeration, this kind of addition puts Green Bay firmly into Super Bowl-winning conversations, if they were not already there before.

NFL fans may never fully understand why Jones chose not to find common ground with his prized defender, but Packers fans will never fault him for it. Especially considering how little Green Bay had to give up, this is a massive win for the Packers and disastrous for the rest of the NFC North.
