Before the dust had even settled on the 2025 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers began making more additions in undrafted free agency.
The Packers wasted no time landing one of the best remaining players in Georgia defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse. He joins his former Bulldog teammate Warren Brinson, who Green Bay selected in the sixth round.
And the work wasn't done there. The Packers had room on the 90-man roster to make several signings in undrafted free agency, and it didn't take long for the reports to begin flooding in. Few teams give opportunities to undrafted rookies quite like the Packers, and many of these players could become contributors in the next season or two.
Packers sign multiple undrafted free agents following the 2025 NFL Draft
Like every year, many talented players went undrafted. The Packers wasted little time adding several of them to the roster:
- Nazir Stackhouse, DL, Georgia
- Johnathan Baldwin, S, UNLV
- Tyler Cooper, G, Minnesota
- Amar Johnson, RB, South Dakota State
- Jamon Dumas-Johnson, LB, Kentucky
- J.J. Lippe, OL, Northern Illinois
- Jalen White, RB, Georgia Southern
- Brant Banks, OL, Rice
- Tyron Herring, DB, Delaware
Stackhouse is the most notable name on the list. He was a two-time second-team All-SEC for Georgia and can immediately upgrade the Packers' run defense. The defense lost T.J. Slaton in free agency, and Stackhouse can play at nose tackle.
It's unsurprising to see the team focus on the offensive line, as they often do in undrafted free agency. Teams always need good depth across the line, so it makes sense to add multiple linemen and see which players can develop and earn roster spots.
The Packers also added depth in the secondary, which is necessary after losing three cornerbacks in free agency (especially if Jaire Alexander soon becomes the fourth).
Roster building is a 365-day process and the Packers' work doesn't end here, but they placed a bow on an impressive draft class by adding more talent immediately afterward.
