At long last, the Green Bay Packers have released their full training camp schedule. Sadly, they've missed the layup of all layups.

The Packers will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the preseason, now home to the reunited Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy. The NFL already botched a golden opportunity to put the game at Lambeau Field, but the Packers and Steelers also deserve some blame here.

Where's the joint practice?!

Rodgers likely won't play in the preseason game, but a joint practice between the two teams would've produced so many fun moments. Rodgers and Matt LaFleur together again. Rodgers and Jordan Love. McCarthy reuniting with members of the Packers staff.

The ultimate story would've been a joint practice and preseason game in Green Bay, allowing Rodgers to ride the bikes to practice one final time.

Packers' full 2026 training camp schedule

The Packers will host a joint practice ahead of their final preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. There will be some familiar faces there, with Matt LaFleur's brother, Mike, taking over as the Cardinals' head coach, with Nathaniel Hackett as his offensive coordinator.

Here are the Packers' full training camp dates:

  • Wednesday, July 29: Public practice (10:30 a.m. CT)
  • Thursday, July 30: Public practice (10:30 a.m. CT)
  • Friday, July 31: Public practice (10:30 a.m. CT)

  • Wednesday, August 26: Public practice with Cardinals (10:30 a.m. CT)
  • Friday, August 28: Preseason game vs. Cardinals (7 p.m. CT)

The Packers will hold 13 practices open to the public, including a joint practice with the Cardinals on August 28. Every practice is currently slated for 10:30 a.m. CT, though those times are subject to change.

The annual Family Night scrimmage at Lambeau Field is on August 7, and the only home preseason game takes place on August 28 against the Cardinals.

Circle the date. July 29. We're only a little over a month away from training camp, and then the road to the regular season is truly underway. We just wish the Packers and Steelers had agreed to a joint practice to have one final reunion with Rodgers before he calls it a career.
