Packers inactives list for Week 14 game against Lions on TNF
The Green Bay Packers face their toughest challenge of the season in a rematch against the Detroit Lions. The Lions dominated at Lambeau Field and proved the Packers were a long way off competing with the defending NFC North champions.
That can all change tonight on Thursday Night Football. Matt LaFleur's team aims to replicate last season's upset win at Ford Field.
Both teams are dealing with injury problems, but none worse than the Detroit Lions. Not only does Detroit have a league-high 18 players on injured reserve, but it has now ruled out four key players, including three starters. Green Bay has an opportunity to steal a crucial divisional victory and pull within one game of first place in the NFC North.
The Packers have ruled out Jaire Alexander, Corey Ballentine, Edgerrin Cooper, and Romeo Doubs for this game, highlighting their own injury issues.
Green Bay has three losses this season against Detroit, Philadelphia, and Minnesota. Two were at home and one at a neutral site. It must prove it can take down another NFC contender, and there's no better opportunity than in tonight's game against the Lions.

Alexander still isn't ready to return from a knee injury he suffered in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8. The All-Pro cornerback has missed effectively all four of the Packers' NFC North games this season. He played 10 snaps against the Chicago Bears before having to leave due to injury.
Doubs practiced this week but remains in the concussion protocol and isn't quite ready to make his return. Cooper is still dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered at practice two weeks ago. He missed the wins over the Bears and Miami Dolphins.
