Ha ha! Yes!

The Myles Garrett hype is here to stay.

Garrett kicked off Super Bowl week with a bang on Monday morning, tweeting out his request to be traded from the Browns after eight seasons of All-Pro play in Cleveland. Whether it's a real request or some sort of leverage play during Media Week will remain to be seen, but shoutout to him for giving Packers bloggers something to write about for the next few days. Now it's like they're in the Super Bowl too!

Now that the initial shock of the trade request has subsided a bit, people are starting to dive into how possible a trade actually would be. Garrett's contract is huge, and trading him would require a fair amount of legwork from Packers GM Brian Gutekunst. It's not impossible, though, and if you don't believe me, let Packers Insider Matt Schneidman convince you of that.

Packers Insider speculates that the Packers could, in fact, trade for Myles Garrett

"It’s doable, especially if Brian Gutekunst wants to back up his statement about expecting to compete for a Super Bowl in 2025," Schneidman said on X Monday morning. "Pass rush was inconsistent, hence DL coach firing. I’m sure fans would understand the Packers not having a first-round pick in the draft they’re hosting."

It's doable! That's all I need to hear. Cap stuff is confusing and more often than not just gets in the way of fun trade ideas, which is the entire point of the NFL offseason. There will be a time for serious conversations about team building and expectations, but that's absolutely not right now. Now's the time for dreaming big, and if Schneidman says that something's doable, I'm going to believe him. In fact, I'm going to go even farther and get that Garrett Packers jersey in my cart, ready to go.

So the next time someone tells you that Myles Garrett is an unrealistic trade target, just remember: it's doable. Anything's possible now that one single Packers Insider said so on the internet. First round picks are so boring, anyway.
