Despite taking an ugly 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday—and a home loss at that—the Green Bay Packers sit at 5-2-1 at the midway point of this 2025 NFL regular season, which is just good enough to have them sitting atop the NFC North. It's not by much, of course, as both the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears are 5-3, with the Minnesota Vikings not far behind at 4-4.
Now, in theory, the Packers could and probably should be at least 7-1 at this point, as they blew a 10-point lead in their Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns and a 13-point lead in their Week 4 tie with the Dallas Cowboys.
On the flip side, however, they also needed a late touchdown from Josh Jacobs in their Week 7 win over the Arizona Cardinals and a monster second half to take down Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8. So, perhaps they're exactly where they're supposed to be.
Where the Packers hope to be in roughly three months, of course, is hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at Levi's Stadium. What a joy it would be for Cheeseheads to win a title at the home of the San Francisco 49ers, right? And destiny says this is supposed to happen, as Bart Starr, Brett Favre, and Aaron Rodgers all won championships at age 27, which is the birthday Jordan Love just celebrated this past Sunday.
Okay, perhaps that's a bit of a stretch, but NFL oddsmakers certainly like Green Bay's chances in February.
The Packers have the third-shortest odds among NFC teams to win Super Bowl 60
Just ahead of the start of the season—basically right after Green Bay swindled Dallas to acquire Micah Parsons—we took a look at the Super Bowl 60 betting odds, and at that time, the Packers were listed at +1200, good for fifth among all NFL teams and second among NFC franchises, trailing only the Baltimore Ravens (+600), Buffalo Bills (+600), Philadelphia Eagles (+700), and Kansas City Chiefs (+850).
And where do they stand now? Let's have a look.
Team | Super Bowl 60 Odds | AFC Champ Odds | NFC Champ Odds |

As you can see, the Packers still rank among the top five in the entire NFL, albeit a tie for fifth alongside the Lions at +950, which should make Cheeseheads feel good, seeing as how Green Bay is coming off a bad loss and did absolutely nothing at the trade deadline.
Despite remaining in the top five overall, the Packers are now the third-ranked team in the NFC. They still trail the Eagles (+900), who they'll host Monday night at Lambeau Field in a high-profile showdown, but they're also now sitting behind the Los Angeles Rams, who overtook Green Bay in the conference standings this past week and now have the shortest odds of any NFC team to win the Super Bowl at +800.
The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, the latter of whom wouldn't even be in the playoffs if they started today, lead the way at +600.
The Packers certainly don't have it easy the rest of the way, as they're tied with none other than the Chicago Bears for the third-toughest remaining strength of schedule. But if they can get past Philly on Monday, they'll certainly feel a lot better about things moving forward.
