The Green Bay Packers need to acquire at least one pass-catcher this offseason.

With Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs entering contract years and Watson likely to miss significant time while recovering from a torn ACL, the Packers must add talent to their wide receiver room.

Targeting a top free agent like Tee Higgins or making a trade offer for a veteran like DK Metcalf are great options, but the Packers could also turn to the draft.

It starts with the Senior Bowl.

Five of the Packers' top six receivers this season were former Senior Bowl participants. The team often drafts multiple players who perform well in Mobile, Alabama. During this week's Senior Bowl practice, several potential Packers targets turned heads, including Iowa State's Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel and Utah State's Jalen Royals.

Another name to watch? Jack Bech.

The TCU wide receiver dominated the Senior Bowl practice sessions, and he spoke about the possibility of playing for the Packers.

TCU's Jack Bech makes his case for the Packers drafting him in 2025

Bech's versatility makes him such a special talent. He could help the Packers' offense in multiple ways, and he made that perfectly clear when speaking to Packer Report's Eli Berkovits.

Berkovits asked Bech how he would feel about playing in an offense that spreads the ball around to its wide receivers.

"If they need me in the slot. If they need me outside. If they need me catching 100 balls for 1,000 yards and 10 TDs or 30 balls for 5 TDs," Bech told Berkovits. "I'm here for it."

That's exactly the mindset that has helped Green Bay's young offense thrive. Each receiver is happy for each other's success and doesn't demand 10-plus targets per game. Bech would fit right in.

That said, he could become Jordan Love's top target.

Bech has everything the Packers look for. At 6-foot-1 and 214 pounds, he meets their size thresholds. He plays with physicality, can win on the outside or line up in the slot, and he rarely drops passes. The part Matt LaFleur might love the most? Bech is an outstanding blocker.

Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy compared him to Los Angeles Rams All-Pro Puka Nacua.

"He's big, he's physical, he'll block. I think teams are going to love this guy, what he's all about," said Nagy. "Everyone is looking for the next Puka Nacua, that's kind of been the thing the last couple of years. I see some of the same stuff that made Puka a great player in Jack Bech."

The next step is the athletic testing at the NFL Scouting Combine or his Pro Day. So far, Bech has checked every box.

He has the versatility, blocking ability, and the mindset the Packers covet. He was excellent in his final year at TCU, catching 62 passes for 1,034 yards and seven touchdowns. Now, Bech has backed it up with a phenomenal week of practice against some of the best prospects in the class.

Bech believes he can help the Packers, and you can bet Brian Gutekunst was watching closely.
