3 players who have gone missing at Packers training camp
We've heard about the standout performers at Green Bay Packers training camp and the highlight-reel plays.
However, there are also players who haven't generated much buzz in the opening two weeks of training camp. It doesn't mean they aren't playing well, just there hasn't been much of an update on them.
Sometimes it's good not to hear much about a player. It means they aren't making notable mistakes on the practice field. But it could also mean they haven't made an impact.
It's still relatively early in training camp and all three preseason games are yet to be played, but these three Packers players haven't generated much buzz this summer.
3. Shemar Jean-Charles
There is an opening on the roster at cornerback, especially while Eric Stokes is out due to injury. The Packers' starting three of Jaire Alexander, Rasul Douglas, and Keisean Nixon remains unchanged, and Stokes will be part of the top four on the depth chart when he returns.
But beyond that, there is competition for the fifth spot.
Rookie Carrington Valentine has been one of the surprises of camp for the Packers, building on his good work in the offseason program. The same can't be said about Shemar Jean-Charles.
We have barely heard anything about his progress this summer, good or bad.
Hopefully, he can make an impact during the preseason. But as things stand, there has been little indication that Jean-Charles is in the mix for a roster spot.
