Breaking down the Packers depth chart so far at wide receiver
The Green Bay Packers' young, talented group of wide receivers is ready to emerge in 2023.

Next men up: Jayden Reed, Samori Toure
The Green Bay Packers have invested quite a bit of draft capital in the last two years on the wide receiver position. That includes obviously multiple second-round picks at the position but also a variety of late-round picks.
Let's talk first about 2023 second-round pick Jayden Reed, who is quickly endearing himself to Packers fans.
Jayden Reed played strictly out of the slot when Jordan Love was on the field through the first two preseason games. Although the Packers believe he has the versatility to play inside and outside, it's clear that the vision is for Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs to take the lion's share of snaps on the outside with Reed causing problems in the slot.
Where do the Packers go after their top three? I think you look no further than Samori Toure. Toure was a seventh-round pick out of Nebraska in 2022, and he looks like he's turning into an insane value at the position.

Jordan Love with great ball to Samori Toure down middle. With safety over top, Love threw behind Toure so as to not get his receiver’s head knocked off. Toure made sliding catch coming back to the ball for 24 yards.

Talk about WRs earning the QB’s trust. That’s the inverse.
Toure played relatively limited snaps in his rookie season but looks like he's poised for somewhat of a breakout role in 2023 as a role player for the Green Bay Packers.
