Week 13’s Sunday slate will wrap up in primetime as the Kansas Chiefs play the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The Chiefs opened as seven-point road favorites over the Packers, but that number has moved to six.

The Chiefs are coming off a 31-17 road win over the Raiders last week, where they overcame a 14-point deficit. As for the Packers, Jordan Love and Co. shocked the NFL world and defeated the Lions 29-22 on Thanksgiving. The score indicates that the game was close, but Green Bay dominated Detroit on both sides of the line of scrimmage.

Chiefs vs. Packers Key Players to Watch

Kansas City Chiefs

Isiah Pacheco: The second-year running back is coming off a two-touchdown performance against the Las Vegas Raiders last week. Pacheco also had 89 yards on 20 touches in the 14-point win over the Raiders. The young running back runs hard every time he gets the ball and has no problem lowering his shoulder against opposing defenders. Pacheco will try to find the end zone for the second consecutive week against the Packers, who have allowed 10 rushing TDs this season.

Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love: Love had one of his best games against the Lions on Thanksgiving. He took his shots down the field when available and was on target with his throws inside the red zone. The former first-round pick completed 68.8% of his passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns. The 25-year-old quarterback will face one of the better-scoring defenses in the Chiefs, who are very opportunistic. However, if you are a Packers fan, you must be encouraged with Love’s play over the last three games.

Chiefs vs. Packers Prediction and Pick

After going on the road and taking down the Lions on Thanksgiving, the Packers will step up in weight class and play the Chiefs on Sunday. The last time we saw the Chiefs in primetime, they lost 21-17 to the Eagles in Week 11.

However, bettors shouldn’t be worried about that, as Kansas City is 4-1 away from Arrowhead this season. The only road loss happened in Week 8 against the Broncos (24-9). In that game, the Chiefs couldn’t run the ball, and Mahomes threw two interceptions. I don’t see Kansas City having any problems running the ball against the Packers, who allow 135.2 rushing yards per game this season.

Meanwhile, the Packers must have some semblance of a running game to slow down the Chiefs’ defense that can get after the quarterback. In their last five games, Kansas City held opponents to 18.6 points per game.

Both teams are ranked in the top 10 in scoring defense this season and top-15 opponent yards per play (Packers – 5.2, 13th in the NFL/Chiefs – 4.9, sixth in the NFL). Therefore, I’ll take the UNDER at Lambeau Field.
