Keisean Nixon

It's tough to predict whether the Packers will bring back Keisean Nixon in 2024. He is an unrestricted free agent.

Nixon is having an up-and-down season. There has been plenty of good. He was excellent in last week's win over the Minnesota Vikings, making 11 tackles, half a sack, a tackle for loss, and a pass defense. Nixon made a crucial interception against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13.

He also provides quality special-teams play. Nixon leads the NFL in kick return yards with 761, averaging a healthy 26.2 yards per return.

However, there have been challenging moments, too. The Packers may look for an upgrade at slot corner in the offseason. According to Pro Football Reference, Nixon is allowing quarterbacks to complete 77.5 percent of passes with a 103.9 rating in his coverage. He has given up 574 yards and three touchdowns this season.

What's next for Nixon? Are the Packers confident he can start at slot corner? Are his special teams contributions enough to land a new deal?

Nixon is coming off an excellent performance in Week 17. He could do with another great game against Chicago to boost his chances of landing a new deal.
