Only two weeks after suffering a sprained MCL in the Green Bay Packers' season opener, Jordan Love is nearing a return. However, he isn't expected to play against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Packers are planning to start Malik Willis against the Titans, with Love again sitting out. It will be the Willis-Titans revenge game, after all.

Love practiced all week, but his return will likely have to wait until Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Only 16 days removed from the injury, it's not too surprising that Love won't go. The Packers listed him as questionable on the injury report, again suggesting he is close to a return. Rapoport noted that Love "could return" against the Vikings in Week 4.

Head coach Matt LaFleur developed the perfect game plan to defeat the Indianapolis Colts without Love last week, but it will take an even greater effort to get the job done today. Tennessee will have a plan to counter Green Bay's creative run-heavy approach from last week, and its defense ranks No. 1 in the NFL entering Week 3.

The good news? Willis knows the Titans' defense well. He spent all summer getting reps against them.

Like last week, Green Bay will need to rely on the defense to step up again. Titans quarterback Will Levis has struggled in the opening two games, throwing for 319 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions.

The Titans have struggled to protect Levis. According to ESPN, Tennessee ranks 29th in pass block win rate this season. The Packers need a big game from Jeff Hafley's defense, particularly the pass rush.

With Love not expected to play, it will take another all-round effort to defeat the Titans.
