NFL Draft 2024: Full list of Packers draft picks on Day 2 (Updated after trade)
The opening night of the 2024 NFL Draft is complete, and it was eventful, to say the least. Six teams added quarterbacks, including two of the Green Bay Packers' NFC North rivals.
Green Bay didn't move from its pick at No. 25, selecting Arizona offensive lineman Jordan Morgan.
Even after adding Morgan, who can play across the offensive line, the Packers will likely look for more reinforcements at tackle and guard in the rounds ahead. They lack depth at each position. The Packers could also focus on linebacker, cornerback, and safety.
Round 1 is always exciting, but things are going to get interesting for the Packers on Day 2. They enter with four picks, followed by another six on Day 3.

The Packers still have 10 selections, including four on Day 2. They will hit the clock early in the second round with the No. 41 pick from the Aaron Rodgers trade. Green Bay also has the No. 88 pick from the Buffalo Bills, which comes from the Rasul Douglas deal.
The real question is how many picks the Packers will actually make.
Will Brian Gutekunst stick at these current positions or use the Packers' bonus draft capital to trade up? He has options.
Recent history of Packers' Day 2 picks
Year | Round | Player |
---|---|---|
2023 | 2 | TE Luke Musgrave |
2023 | 2 | WR Jayden Reed |
2023 | 3 | TE Tucker Kraft |
2022 | 2 | WR Christian Watson |
2022 | 3 | G Sean Rhyan |
2021 | 2 | C Josh Myers |
2021 | 3 | WR Amari Rodgers |
2020 | 2 | RB AJ Dillon |
2020 | 3 | TE Josiah Deguara |
The Packers have made nine Day 2 selections over the past three years, and the results were mixed. Gutekunst struck out on Josiah Deguara and Amari Rodgers, and it's fair to say AJ Dillon and Josh Myers haven't lived up to their Round 2 draft status.
However, things are trending in the right direction. Last year's selections of Luke Musgrave, Jayden Reed, and Tucker Kraft couldn't have looked any better in Year 1. All three were major factors in the Packers' offense by the end of last season.
Rhyan may have ended Green Bay's long third-round curse. He showed promise as a backup last year and could win the starting right guard job in 2024.
If Rhyan didn't break the curse, Kraft certainly did. Despite making a slow start to his rookie season, he dominated down the stretch, with 26 catches for 312 yards and two touchdowns in the final seven games. His development as a blocker across the season was also incredible to watch.
