2. Packers need to give Emanuel Wilson an opportunity

Aaron Jones suffered a hamstring injury against the Bears, leaving his status for Week 2 up in the air. Even if Jones starts against the Falcons, undrafted rookie Emanuel Wilson deserves an opportunity.

AJ Dillon struggled in the season opener, rushing for only 19 yards on 13 carries. Patrick Taylor had more yards on just five attempts. The Packers need to give Wilson a chance to play in Week 2.

The undrafted rookie deservedly earned a 53-man roster spot after an excellent preseason. He rushed for 223 yards and two touchdowns on 38 attempts, averaging 5.9 yards.

Despite Wilson making the 53, the Packers activated Patrick Taylor from the practice squad against the Bears. Wilson was inactive. But that needs to change in Week 2. Even if Taylor offers more on special teams, Wilson's rushing ability should earn him an opportunity.

Dillon is under pressure to perform in Week 2. He will continue to get opportunities. But the Packers need Wilson to play, even if Jones is active. If Dillon can't improve on last week, Wilson could give the offense a spark when Jones isn't on the field.

He made the 53-man roster for a reason. Now, it's time to see what he can do in the regular season.
