Kevin King, CB

Kevin King had the worst injury luck throughout his time with the Packers. Unfortunately, he almost certainly won't play in the NFL this season.

King has been a free agent since his contract expired with the Packers in 2022. He decided to take last season off but had planned to return in 2023. However, King revealed that he suffered a torn Achilles while training this offseason. Absolutely heartbreaking for King.

It likely ends his chances of playing this year. Hopefully, this isn't the end for King. He turned 28 this month. If he decides to play in 2024, he will only be 29 with plenty of football ahead of him.

However, he will be coming off a significant injury and two years out of the league.

When healthy, King was a quality starter in the Packers' defense. Across five seasons, he played in 51 regular season games, making 30 pass defenses, seven interceptions, forced two fumbles, and recovered two fumbles.

Hopefully, King will make a speedy recovery and makes a comeback in 2024. We're rooting for him. It's unbelievable how unlucky he has been with injuries over the years. Unfortunately, it's possible that he has played his final snap in the NFL.
