Family Night is in the books, we're two weeks into training camp, and the Green Bay Packers are about to kick off their preseason campaign.

Three exhibition games await Matt LaFleur's team with precious roster spots on the line. We have already learned a lot about this team through two weeks of camp, but most positional battles remain wide open.

We still don't know who will back up Jordan Love, who will start at right guard, and who will kick for the Packers in 2024, but we're closer to getting those answers.

Here are our latest projections entering the first week of the preseason.

Predicting Packers 53-man roster after second week of training camp

Quarterbacks (2)

  • Jordan Love
  • Sean Clifford

Sean Clifford has struggled throughout training camp, but the Packers seem reluctant to hand the reins of the second-team offense to rookie Michael Pratt. Clifford has shown improvements over the last week, and it seems Green Bay still considers him the No. 2 quarterback.

Preseason will go a long way to determining who backs up Jordan Love this season. Clifford remains the QB2 for now, but he is under pressure from Pratt.

Running backs (3)

  • Josh Jacobs
  • AJ Dillon
  • MarShawn Lloyd

Green Bay's backfield depth is exciting. Josh Jacobs will take on a featured role in Matt LaFleur's offense, with AJ Dillon and MarShawn Lloyd complementing him. Dillon is in incredible shape and has performed well at camp, while Lloyd is already showing his home-run potential. He had a 50-yard touchdown run at practice last week.

Second-year Emanuel Wilson continues to play well at practice. If he can build momentum in the preseason, the Packers may have to make room on the 53.

Wide receivers (6)

  • Christian Watson
  • Romeo Doubs
  • Jayden Reed
  • Dontayvion Wicks
  • Bo Melton
  • Grant DuBose

Grant DuBose is a player to watch in the preseason. Cheesehead TV's Aaron Nagler said the second-year receiver "is making a play every day" on the practice field.

The top four will dominate the snaps this season, and Bo Melton is a safe bet to make the roster after the work he has done since the backend of last year. But if the Packers are open to keeping a sixth receiver, DuBose has the chance to win the job ahead of Malik Heath.

"He had a whole year in our system, learning our offense," said head coach Matt LaFleur, via Jason B. Hirschhorn of The Leap. "Very detailed guy. Going to give you great effort. Great hands. Can run through the ball. He's strong. So I'm excited to see what he can do within the preseason and the games."

Tight ends (4)

  • Luke Musgrave
  • Tucker Kraft
  • Ben Sims
  • Tyler Davis

The Packers are set at tight end. We haven't seen Tucker Kraft at training camp yet due to a pectoral injury, although it sounds like his return is near. Hopefully, he will be 100 percent in time for the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Green Bay has good depth. Ben Sims was a reliable No. 3 option last season, while Tyler Davis' return boosts the special teams.

Offensive line (10)

  • Rasheed Walker
  • Elgton Jenkins
  • Josh Myers
  • Jordan Morgan
  • Zach Tom
  • Sean Rhyan
  • Andre Dillard
  • Kadeem Telfort
  • Royce Newman
  • Jacob Monk

With Zach Tom set to return to full practice this week, the Packers' starting offensive line is in good shape. The concern is the lack of depth, particularly at tackle.

Green Bay has tried Andre Dillard, Kadeem Telfort, and Caleb Jones at right tackle while Tom recovered from injury, but none of them could provide consistency. Do the Packers have a reliable swing tackle option like they've had in recent years?

First-round pick Jordan Morgan has played some tackle snaps, but it's pretty clear the Packers view him as a guard. He could win the right guard job ahead of Sean Rhyan.

Defensive line (9)

  • Kenny Clark
  • T.J. Slaton
  • Devonte Wyatt
  • Karl Brooks
  • Colby Wooden
  • Rashan Gary
  • Preston Smith
  • Lukas Van Ness
  • Kingsley Enagbare

This projection only has the Packers keeping four edge rushers, and they may prefer to find a way to make room for Brenton Cox Jr. But with Devonte Wyatt and Karl Brooks capable of moving around, Jeff Hafley has plenty of pass-rushing options up front.

Linebackers (5)

  • Quay Walker
  • Edgerrin Cooper
  • Isaiah McDuffie
  • Ty'Ron Hopper
  • Eric Wilson

Edgerrin Cooper sat out of Family Night due to a hip injury. Hopefully, it's not a long-term issue and doesn't cost him snaps in the preseason. The Packers' linebacker group is off to a good start this summer. Quay Walker and Cooper have made plays consistently, while Isaiah McDuffie looks comfortable as a potential starting option.

Cornerbacks (6)

  • Jaire Alexander
  • Eric Stokes
  • Carrington Valentine
  • Keisean Nixon
  • Corey Ballentine
  • Kalen King

The biggest takeaway at cornerback is the play of Eric Stokes. The former first-round pick is healthy and reminding everyone how talented he is. If he avoids injury this season, look out. Second-year Carrington Valentine has also played well this summer but is dealing with a hamstring injury. Matt LaFleur said they will be cautious, so it's unclear how much time Valentine will miss.

Rookie Kalen King is a player to watch in the preseason. He has earned snaps in the slot and has made some plays. King has a great shot at making the 53.

Safeties (5)

  • Xavier McKinney
  • Javon Bullard
  • Anthony Johnson Jr.
  • Evan Williams
  • Kitan Oladapo

The Packers have so much talent at safety. Rookie Javon Bullard is likely the Day 1 starter opposite Xavier McKinney, but don't count out Anthony Johnson Jr. or Evan Williams. Matt LaFleur said Johnson is having an "outstanding camp," while Williams has made multiple interceptions on the practice field.

Rookie Kitan Oladapo is working his way back from injury and has a chance to show what he can do in the preseason.

Specialists (3)

  • Greg Joseph (K)
  • Daniel Whelan (P)
  • Matt Orzech (LS)

The kicking competition is too close to call ahead of the preseason. After missing three kicks on Thursday, Anders Carlson bounced back with a strong performance at Family Night. However, veteran Greg Joseph might have taken a slight advantage.

Packer Report's Andy Herman has Joseph at 37/41 on kicks this summer, with Carlson 33/41. That's a 90.2 conversion percentage compared to 80.5.
