Whether you thank or blame Jordan Love for the Green Bay Packers' new uniforms depends on your preference, but the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL had an impact in bringing them in.

The Packers unveiled new all-white uniforms featuring a white helmet. They will wear them on October 20 against the Houston Texans in a game the team is calling "Winter Warning." It's a noon game in October, so it doesn't make much sense, but let's not get off-topic.

It's unusual for the Packers to go away from tradition, even for one game, but the white helmets are here.

How do we know Love is partly responsible? You'd have to ask Rashan Gary.

Rashan Gary hints that Jordan Love helped make new Packers uniforms happen

Kay Adams of Up & Adams caught up with Gary at Packers training camp. Adams asked Gary whether he pushed for the Packers to bring in the new alternate uniforms.

"I don't know personally myself, but I think J-Love had a lot to do with it," said Gary. "I think he had a lot to do with it. I love the white gold. I love the white facemasks. I can't wait to wear them."

So, there you have it. Gary didn't go into detail, but he said more than enough. Love "had a lot to do" with the arrival of the alternate uniforms.

Whether you enjoy the new look or prefer to stick with the traditional gold helmets, we can all agree on one thing: It doesn't matter as long as Love is throwing touchdown passes while wearing it.

Currently, the Packers will debut these alternate uniforms in a noon game. But considering it's against C.J. Stroud and the Texans, perhaps they are banking on the NFL flexing it into Sunday Night Football. That game belongs in primetime, and so do the new-look all-white uniforms.
