2. Josiah Deguara

The Green Bay Packers may have gotten a little too cute when it came to drafting Josiah Deguara in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Matt LaFleur was in his second year with the Packers as head coach at the time, and he had undoubtedly seen Kyle Juszczyk make four straight Pro Bowls as a member of the Ravens and 49ers. The Packers had to be thinking that Deguara could be their version of Juszczyk, a hybrid player at the fullback/tight end position who could be an effective blocker and weapon in the passing game.

Even if he didn't post the greatest numbers as a receiver, you expected a guy like Deguara to make a significant impact on the offense one way or the other.

That simply hasn't happened over the last four years. The Packers have gotten 47 receptions out of Deguara in four seasons, and he has played a minimal role in the offense. With his snaps going down literally every year over the last three seasons, what is his value going to be once he hits NFL free agency?

Deguara might have some advocates in a place like New York (with the Jets) but where else? What other team is going to want to add him after what we've seen over the last four seasons?
