Jordan Love is off and running as the Green Bay Packers starting quarterback. He capped off a perfect opening drive with a beautiful touchdown pass to wide receiver Romeo Doubs, building off their excellent chemistry at training camp.

The Packers made the dream start to the game, forcing the Chicago Bears to turn the ball over on downs in their own territory.

Love and the offense made them pay. After leaning heavily on the run game, Love threw a touchdown pass to Doubs, who could finish the season as the Packers' leading receiver.

Love showed poise on the opening drive, despite playing in a tough environment at Soldier Field. He remained calm, looked confident, and delivered the perfect pass to Doubs.

Here is Love's first touchdown pass as the Packers' QB1:

Green Bay's offensive line protected Love well. With time, he waited for Doubs to break free in the back of the end zone. Love made the perfect throw, and Doubs did the rest.

The two built excellent chemistry during training camp. While Christian Watson is the big-play threat in the Packers' offense, it's Doubs who can be the reliable possession receiver in this offense.

Green Bay leaned heavily on its rushing attack to start the game. Love attempted four passes, completing two for 21 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Aaron Jones had five carries for 24 yards and AJ Dillon had one attempt for minus-three yards. The Packers could continue to rely on their run game as they have a lack of experience at wide receiver, especially with Christian Watson out.

The opening drive will give Love and the Packers a lot of confidence. They were helped by the defense, giving them a short field. But Love, Jones, and Doubs did the rest. The perfect start.
