10. Safeties

  • Darnell Savage
  • Rudy Ford
  • Jonathan Owens
  • Anthony Johnson Jr.
  • Dallin Leavitt
  • Zayne Anderson

Overall, the Green Bay Packers' safety room doesn't lack talent or experience, it just might be one of the more underwhelming position groups on the roster. I don't know if you can say this position group has an exceptionally high ceiling because we know what the Packers are getting from Darnell Savage, who is coming off of somewhat of a down year.

The Packers obviously don't view this as a position group that lacks depth, or perhaps special teams ability, but on paper, this isn't Green Bay's most impressive group.

9. Quarterbacks

  • Jordan Love
  • Sean Clifford

Until proven otherwise, the jury is out on Jordan Love as the Green Bay Packers' new franchise QB. This is not a statement of doubt, it's merely a statement of "we'll see what happens". It would be presumptuous at best to declare Jordan Love as anything but an unknown at this point, although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued after what we saw in the preseason. His showing in exhibition matchups and apparent progression within Matt LaFleur's offense has bumped this position group up a tad.
