2. Jordan Fuller, S

One player we've discussed as a potential fit for new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley in the past is Los Angeles Rams free agent safety Jordan Fuller. NFL free agency is often an exercise in networking, so the connection between Fuller and Hafley could come into play. Hafley knows Fuller from his time at Ohio State, and Fuller has developed into a good starting safety at the NFL level.

After racking up 93 total tackles and three interceptions this past season, the Packers could look at the potential losses of Darnell Savage and Rudy Ford in free agency as a way to really reset at the position. They could opt for the NFL Draft, but this year's safety crop in NFL free agency is a really good one.

3. Xavier McKinney, S

Sticking with the safety position, if the Packers want to find a safety who can come up and make sure tackles aren't missed, perhaps Xavier McKinney is the guy they need to be going after.

According to Pro Football Focus: "While he could make more plays at or near the line of scrimmage, he rarely whiffs on open-field tackles. The 24-year-old has missed just 7.8% of his tackle attempts over his career, 11th-best among 89 safeties with at least 100 tackles over the past four seasons, making him a reliable enough last line of defense."

The safety market is one that may be worth diving into if you're the Green Bay Packers. It's not going to be prohibitive cost-wise and McKinney has proven to be someone who can be trusted in just about every type of situation. The former second-round pick could give a huge boost to the back end of Green Bay's defense.
