The Green Bay Packers lost in their Week 5 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in disappointing fashion, with the game ending on a really ugly Jordan Love interception. Love's play through the first month-plus of the 2023 season has some Green Bay Packers fans getting frustrated, while others are already fed up. Because of the fact that Love was a first-round pick all the way back in 2020 at this point, the 2023 season is really an audition year for him.

The Packers don't have to stay locked into Love for the foreseeable future, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see them considering all possible alternatives in 2024. But who might be out there or available?

Let's take a look at five names that could be on the market and realistically available to the Packers, whether that's via trade, free agency, or the NFL Draft.

5 alternatives to Jordan Love the Green Bay Packers might consider

1. 2024 NFL Draft prospects

At this point, the Green Bay Packers and GM Brian Gutekunst prefer to address mostly everything via the NFL Draft, so why would that change with their next potential quarterback, right? The Packers are 2-3 at this point, and they have a really strong defense, so the idea of getting into Caleb Williams or Drake Maye territory is a bit far-fetched.

But the 2024 NFL Draft isn't just limited to those guys.

The Packers could take a look at other players, like Oregon's Bo Nix, Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, Texas's Quinn Ewers, or Michigan's JJ McCarthy. There are a variety of quarterbacks that will be available in next year's draft that might be worth a first-round pick, or perhaps a dart throw on Day 2.

Don't be shocked to see the Packers in the market for young QBs once again next offseason.
