6. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are loaded offensively, and they might be able to put together an Olympic-caliber track team. This team has one of the most brilliant offensive minds in football -- Mike McDaniel -- pulling the strings, and a group of offensive skill players that almost any NFL general manager would covet.

Defending against the Miami Dolphins is not easy, but how good will this team be defensively in 2024? Vic Fangio is gone. Christian Wilkins is gone. Andrew Van Ginkel is gone. Xavien Howard. The list goes on...Not to mention, the Dolphins' top two pass rushers -- Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips -- are coming off of season-ending injuries. This team may need to score 45 every week...and they can.

5. Los Angeles Rams

Based on the last two years, calling the Rams one of the hardest opponents the Packers will face this year might seem a little silly. This is not the same team that won the Super Bowl in the 2021-22 season. This is a team that has taken on wholesale changes since that Super Bowl win.

Not even Aaron Donald remains.

But Sean McVay is one of the best coaches in the league. Les Snead and his staff know how to find talent that works in this program, and the Rams develop players as well as anyone. Sound like a familiar operation, Packers fans? The Rams are going to be tough at any juncture of this season if they are healthy.

4. Houston Texans

You can't help but wonder if there's a little too much positivity surrounding the Houston Texans right now. The Texans were the NFL's Cinderella story last year, but even after the clock struck midnight, NFL fans and analysts alike are certain that this team is the next best thing in 2024.

The way the Texans have added talent the last four years is a testament to the work done by general manager Nick Caserio, but CJ Stroud is the straw that stirs the entire drink. Hitting on a quarterback like Stroud is rare, and the Texans kind of lucked into him. Remember how mad their fans were at Lovie Smith for winning that last game in the 2022 season?

Stroud now has Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon in his huddle. DeMeco Ryans now has Danielle Hunter and a host of other big-time talents on the defensive line at his disposal. Houston is going to be a problem.
