The Green Bay Packers losing to the Philadelphia Eagles during their Friday duel in Brazil isn't super alarming in a vacuum, as they went toe-to-toe with a Super Bowl contender. However, quarterback Jordan Love did not have an ideal night. His night ended with a scary injury that threatened to derail the entire season.

Between Love's injury, head coach Matt LaFleur's tight-lipped response on his status, and the fact that the ultra-inconsistent Malik Willis (who arrived in town two weeks ago) would be the projected starter with No. 10 incapacitated, things are looking fairly glum.

If the Packers remain unsold on Willis and his ability to lead this offense to success consistently, Green Bay may need to do some more backup quarterback hunting. These three quarterbacks, including grizzled veterans and young studs, could be in the mix as Green Bay looks to possibly supplement their depth chart.

3. Blaine Gabbert

Gabbert's time as a backup to the stars could land him another gig in Green Bay. If Love is only out for a few games and LaFleur doesn't trust Willis, Gabbert is exactly the kind of veteran sponge LaFleur can trust to execute the offense without having to baby him.

He's not a sexy option, but he could be a realistic one.

2. Desmond Ridder

Why would the Packers try to sign Ridder, who was returned to the Arizona Cardinals' practice squad after a very disappointing preseason, when they have another inaccurate 2022 draftee in Willis waiting in the wings? Well, unlike Willis, there have been plenty of times where Ridder has operated an NFL offense and won some games.

Ridder, who has led five game-winning drives in just 17 starts, has quality arm talent and a sense of how to make plays when things collapse around him. While his wild swings in consistency ultimately ruined his Falcons tenure, Willis has those same peaks and valleys. The main difference is that Willis' valleys are more spacious.

1. Ryan Tannehill

If the injury to Love is serious enough to sideline him for a big chunk of games, the Packers may need to sign the best veteran quarterback out there. While Tannehill is fresh off a rough season to close out a productive Titans tenure, he still has a bit of juice left in his tank.

With a deep ball that can still get the job done and enough mobility to make up for an offensive line that is still very much a work in progress, Tannehill could come into this situation and still deliver the ball to Green Bay's growing stockpile if promising young receivers. If Tannehill wants one last crack as a starter, he won't get a better shot than this.
