Ranking the Green Bay Packers' last 10 first-round draft picks
6. Devonte Wyatt, DL (2022)
Things got off to a slow start for Devonte Wyatt in his rookie year with the Green Bay Packers, but you started to see the vision really unfold in year two. Wyatt is a big reason why fans should have high expectations for Lukas Van Ness in his second season.
Wyatt went from barely contributing as a rookie to racking up 5.5 sacks and 11 QB hits last year, along with 16 QB pressures and 36 total tackles. The former first-rounder out of Georgia is shaping up to have an even bigger breakout campaign entering his third NFL season in 2024.
5. Quay Walker, LB (2022)
The Packers are expecting a lot out of Quay Walker, who was once the man in the middle of Georgia's defense. Walker already has 239 career tackles in just two NFL seasons with nine QB hits, 12 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, and a pick-six last season.
The Packers consistently bet on athletic traits in the NFL Draft, but Walker's combination of playmaking instincts and athletic traits make him one of the best all-around players on the Green Bay defense. As the game continues to slow down for him, he's only going to be more of a factor each week.
